Currently, this holding company operates an integrated platform of ports and specialized services in the sector. It is in charge of the concession of two of the most important public port terminals in the country: Salaverry in the north and Matarani in the south.

For its part, the Port of Matarani is a consolidated operation; It is 23 years old and was, in addition, the first terminal granted a concession by the State, which has allowed the production of the large mining projects in the south of the country to reach international markets. About 70% of the cargo volume of this terminal corresponds to large-scale mining.
“Peru has first-class port infrastructure that has accompanied the development of foreign trade and the country's industries in general,” says Álvaro Galindo Neumann, Corporate General Manager of Grupo Tramarsa.
Investment hand in hand with social development
Galindo Neumann also pointed out that the investments made have gone hand in hand with the development of the communities where they operate; ensuring that modernization projects are sustainable over time because funds are allocated to benefit communities in areas such as health, education, infrastructure and sports.
